Fall

After a request from Uncle Nick here are some pictures of the little guy. He loves to walk around with hats on so far down that he can't even see. So far we have only ran into one thing.

He is also a fan of putting money in his piggy bank. Of course, it is mom and dad's money. I'm sure this will be a habit for the next 16 years.

We got a picture of James and Grandpa. This was the best one since all the other ones James is screaming.

Giving knucks to daddy.

Apparently dinner wasn't that great or he was very tired.

A couple of weeks ago we went to an apple orchard. For the most part James enjoyed it. Especially at the end when we got cider and donuts.

He dressed up like Yoda for Halloween. We were ready to hand out candy but no one showed up. I guess that just means more candy for us. :)

Another Halloween treat he got was an ice cream sandwich for doing such a great job at dinner. I think these two pictures of him make me realize how much he looks like Uncle Nick...what a lucky guy.

Baby #2 and James' New Haircut

James got to go see Grandma Mary on Tuesday and get a new haircut. He was in need of one and I think he looks so cute...a little bias though. :) The picture on the right looks like he is getting ready for a senior picture. He can be such a ham sometimes when getting his picture taken, as you can see in the second picture.

We also went this week to get an ultrasound done. It went pretty quick and were a little disappointed that we didn't get the 3-D picture like we did with James but every thing seems to be on track. The best part was when we were looking at the baby's spine and it appeared that the baby was shaking it's butt at us. Must have some of the same dance moves as big brother. One of the pictures looks like the baby is flashing a peace sign. Right now we are at week 18 and only have 22 more weeks to go. Almost half way there. :)

Summer Time

Well you would think with it being summer that I could keep up on this blog thing. We must be enjoying our relaxtion time too much! :) James has been changing a ton and getting quite the personality. He is his dad's son...this is evident by the picture above. Not even two years old and alreay want to play video games.

We have a park in town and he loves to go on the swings. He really likes to wear his John Deere hat too. However, Uncle Dale is going to need to get him another one soon...his head is getting too big.

Some of our friends got married this summer and we got to dress James up. He looked so cute in his outfit, although I don't think he enjoyed this picture.

He really likes going outside to play with the basketball and sidewalk chalk. He decided to get up close and personal with the camera. As you can tell the picture is a little blurry below. :)

For the 4th of July we went to our cousin's cabin. James had a really good time. Below him and mom are playing hide and go seek while everyone else is sleeping. The little stinker liked to get up at 6:00am...I thought we were suppose to be on vacation.

We took a ride around the lake once the weather got nicer. He didn't like his life jacket at first but by the time we got done he didn't want to take it off.

Him and cousin 'Ray-ray' are relaxing and enjoying some Cheez-Its.

For some reason he loves to go into the kitchen and get out the oven mit and run around the house wearing it.

It was pretty hot this day so he got to show off his pipes with a muscle shirt.

He loves playing soccer too! This is a great in action shot of the little future soccer star.

Or...maybe a basketball star.

This is a facial expression we have seen a lot this summer. I think it will only get worse. For those of you that don't know we are expecting baby number two in December. I don't think this will be an easy transition for the little guy.

Here he is trying to look cute after making the face above.

This is why it will be a hard transition becoming a big brother...he is attached to his mom. He doesn't like to share me with anyone.

He is very adventurous and likes to climb on everything. It makes mom and dad a little nervous but I guess if he falls off I am certified to take care of his injuries. :)

It's Been A While

Mom and Dad are offically off for the summer. So James is going to get to spends lots of time with us!! We can't wait! He is changing so much and getting quite the personality. His favorites things to do are to throw a ball, color, go outside, and have a snack. He is always asking to have a snack...no matter what time of day. :) Here is a picture of him back at Grandma Nancy's. He loved the dog out on the porch and wanted to play with it ever time we went outside.

James loves to play with Callum. Here they are trying to break out of the house.

Uncle Dale got him a John Deere hat. James has a big mellon and it's almost time to get him a new one since he is out growing this one.

Aunt Amy got him a coloring book with crayons. He loves it! His favorite color right now is red.

My First Haircut

James got his first haircut today from Grandma Mary. As you can see he was not that happy. :) Overall he did a great job. He no longer has hippy hair...which makes mom kind of sad.

Doing his GQ pose. I think his new haircut looks great. He is still going to wow the ladies.

New Pictures

We finally got some pictures of James taken. A couple at our church is trying to adopt some kids from Haiti so they put on a photo shoot to raise money. It was slow going at first but then James really started to ham it up for the camera. I think the one below on the left is one of my favorites. I got in some of the pictures but really didn't dress for the occasion. Some look like he is getting ready for his senior pictures. Overall he did a great job. Enjoy!
